Our Story

Byron Jerky began on our family farm in the peaceful foothills of the Byron Shire hinterland. In 2002 we earned a reputation as a trusted supplier of locally grown salad mixes and herbs. Life on the land was simple and rewarding, and it sparked our appreciation for real, honest food made with care.
When it came time to explore a new direction, the decision felt natural. We loved biltong and jerky, and we knew that when it is made properly it is not only full of flavour, it is also a healthy source of protein.
We combined our farming values, a commitment to clean ingredients and traditional methods to create small batch beef jerky made from 100 per cent grass fed Australian beef. Today we are proud to share that passion with people across Australia.
